Thanks for coming on. Here is what to expect and how to look and sound your best. It takes five minutes to read.
What to expect
- A relaxed conversation of about an hour, recorded on video. It is not live, and we can pause or redo anything.
- Your questions arrive ahead of time in your confirmation email. There is no need to script answers.
- Rob sends the recording link before your date.
Before you join
- Wear headphones or earbuds. It stops echo and is the biggest single fix for sound.
- Use a laptop or desktop if you can, on steady Wi-Fi or a wired connection.
- Pick a quiet room, and silence your phone and notifications.
- Face a window or a lamp, so the light is on your face and not behind you.
- Put the camera at eye level and sit about three feet back.
- Close other tabs and apps so your connection stays steady.
- Have water nearby, and join five minutes early so we can check sound.
