Terms of use.

These terms cover your use of the Talking Cannabiz website, newsletter, podcast and videos, published by Vido Manufacturing & Distribution Corp. By using them, you agree to these terms.

Adults only

You must be 21 or older to use this site or subscribe.

Information, not advice

Everything we publish is for general information and entertainment. It is not legal, medical, financial, tax or compliance advice. Talk to a qualified professional before acting on anything you read, see or hear here.

Cannabis and the law

Cannabis laws differ from state to state, and cannabis remains illegal under United States federal law. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws where you live and work.

Talking Cannabiz does not sell cannabis or cannabis products, and nothing here is an offer to sell them.

Health and product talk

We talk about cannabis, hemp and the products around them. Statements about any product have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and nothing we publish is meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

A product, brand or company being mentioned on the show does not mean it is safe, tested, licensed or legal where you live. Check for yourself, follow the label, and never drive or work impaired.

Guests and opinions

Guests speak for themselves. Their views are their own and are not endorsed by us, and our views are not endorsed by them.

Coming on the show

These guest terms apply if you ask to be a guest or appear on the show.

You are 21 or older.
A request is not a booking. Nothing is confirmed until we confirm it with you in writing, and we may decline, reschedule or cancel.
More than one person can ask for the same week. We choose who comes on, and when more than one guest suits the week we may settle it with rock paper scissors, played as single elimination. Your first throw is the one you pick on the form. For a tie or a later match we email you a private link to throw again, and a throw that is not in within 24 hours forfeits the match.
Once you are confirmed, we may list your name, company and recording or release date on this site and in our promotion.
You agree to be recorded, in audio and video.
You give us permission to use the recording and your name, voice, image, likeness, biography, company name and logo in the show, the newsletter, clips, transcripts and promotion, in any media, worldwide, with no end date.
We may edit the recording, and we decide whether, when and how it is published. We do not promise that any interview will air.
Appearing is voluntary and unpaid. You are not owed fees, royalties or a share of sponsorship or other revenue.
The recording belongs to us. You are welcome to share the published episode and its clips with credit.
You are responsible for what you say. Do not share anything confidential, anything you do not have the right to share, or false statements about other people or companies.
If you speak for a company, you confirm you are allowed to.

If you need something removed after an episode is out, email us. We consider every request in good faith, but we cannot recall copies that have already been shared or downloaded.

Our content

The Talking Cannabiz name, logo, artwork, episodes, newsletters and site content belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.

You are welcome to share links, short clips and quotes with credit to Talking Cannabiz. Please do not republish full episodes or issues, or use our name or artwork to suggest we endorse you, without written permission.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on this site or in the show uses your copyrighted work without permission, email rob@talkingcannabiz.com with the subject line Copyright. Tell us what the work is, where it appears and how to reach you, and confirm that you own it or act for the owner. We review every notice promptly and remove or fix anything that infringes.

What you send us

If you send us a tip, story idea, guest pitch or feedback, you give us permission to use it in the show and newsletter without payment. Do not send anything confidential, or anything you do not have the right to share.

The newsletter

By subscribing you agree to receive the newsletter and episode updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Links and players

We link to other sites and embed players from services such as YouTube and podcast apps. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Fair use of the site

Do not use the site unlawfully, interfere with how it works, or collect information from it by automated means.

No guarantees

We work to get things right, but the site and everything on it are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the content is complete, current or free of errors. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Talking Cannabiz, Vido Manufacturing & Distribution Corp and the people who work on the show are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content.

Your responsibility

If you break these terms, or something you send us or say on the show breaks the law or the rights of someone else, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the losses and costs that result, including reasonable legal fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you agree to those courts.

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
